A Slovakian resistance fighter’s banner stands above rubble in Prague and some fighters dash across the street carrying the flag. Wounded men are rushed inside a building, and Czech troops march into battle. A pair of SS tanks continues to fire long after the battle is lost. Soviet tanks roll into Prague, and the nazi prisoners, marked with sloppy swastikas, repair the streets. President Benes returns in a motorcade to thousands of screaming Czechs waving hates and handkerchiefs. He stands in a window and waves to the excited public.
