We see sailboats in the ocean, and President Eisenhower from behind as he looks through binoculars to watch the start of the race off of Newport, RI. There is a shot of the empty Ebbets Field for baseball in Brooklyn, then a shot of a banner "Welcome S.F. Giants" over a crowd-lined street while cars drive under the rain of confetti. We see the final home run from the Yankees in game seven of the world series against Milwaukee, along with another highlight from the series.
