A soldier is in a bunker, hiding from shell fire. This staged war is a comment on his dreams to own a home, and he looks at a magazine clipping with a home on it between explosions. The scene cuts to the soldier walking down a street with his wife, and the VO says there aren’t enough houses. The camera cuts to couple of shots of the Washington DC and Capitol buildings. National housing Administration titles come on, and shows house shaped graphs of how house building is going to increase between 1945-1947.
