hand of guard turning key in prison cell door. prisoner begins eating sandwich, but stops abruptly and opens sandwich. inside is a note that says “all set for midnight, volkswagen will pick you up”. he quickly begins to eat the rest of the sandwich. cut to rope made of sheets flying over high stone wall into a street at night. prisoner climbs down. soon volkswagen arrives, but it’s a new fastback vw and the escaped prisoner doesn’t realize it’s a vw so he starts to run away with the car following him.
