Laurel & Hardy converse with a man wearing a top hat and holding a cane. He attempts to pass a large crate in the middle of a stairway. Laurel knocks the man’s hat down the stairs, and it is run over by a truck. Laurel and Hardy carry the box up the stairs until Hardy falls into a fountain of water.
