Here’s a super 8 home movie of severely tanned gay men hanging out in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park during a 1976 Gay Pride celebration. Three men are shown with tans that are orange-red, verging on looking blood red. In fact, the tans are so extreme they look somewhat artificial. 

The first guy is shirtless, wearing shades, holding a can of Coors beer, and standing under a tree -- looking cool and perhaps looking for a date. 

The second guy looks tipsy and is dancing in a sea of other gay men who are also dancing. 

The third guy is squatting while zipping up his black backpack and holding his video camera. The head of his penis appears to be sticking out of his jean shorts. He then stands up, leers at the camera, and looks around himself, searching for his next destination.
