Miami 1933. Anton Cermak. Yacht with Franklin Roosevelt and associates. Roosevelt waving hat, arrives amongst a crowd, applauding him. CU Roosevelt, CU Cermak. Giuseppe Zangara, man who shot and killed Cermak attempting to kill Roosevelt, in prison. Zangara with several detectives, one holding a pistol, pointing at it with a pen. Zangara being questioned. Says if they let him go he’ll try to shoot the president again, but he wouldn’t shoot a working man. Cermak’s funeral. Casket carried into back of a hearse. Zangara’s trial. Pan of crowd.
