In this 1960s clip, two people view 16mm footage in an edit suite.

The clip begins with a man and woman at an edit bench, using rewinds to look at a 16mm film. A large projector, possibly an Elmo, sits nearby on a moveable table.

The edit table has splicers, cleaning equipment, tape, a Moviola Magnasync Synchronizer, and a Moviescope viewer. Using the viewer, both the man and woman look intently at the images from the 16mm film.

Film reels line the wall above the edit table. A clock hangs and ticks on the wall.

Both the man and woman eventually look at the physical film, holding it up to the light. Perhaps they are trying to find a specific image, or  trying to interpret what they’re even seeing, or trying to assess the condition of the footage.

The man and woman are standing so close to each other that it looks like there may be sexual chemistry or attraction between them. The woman may even be trying to arouse the guy without him even knowing it or thinking about it.
