Here's a 1960 home movie of a Michigan family at home on Christmas day, opening presents and enjoying each other's company. There are also exterior shots of their home, which is decorated for the season. 

Clip opens with a manger scene. There is close-up of a half-gold and half-red crown with lights on it. The footage is at night. 

An older man wearing a shirt and tie takes wrapped gifts out of a box. A lighted Christmas tree is in the corner of the shot. The older man hands out gifts. A grandmotherly woman in an apron is by the tree. The older man, apparently feeling spirited, puts a gold bow on the top of his head and unwraps a gift, which turns out to be an orange-red ceramic bull. 

A woman is dressed as Santa Claus. The man who was wearing the gold bow pats Santa's stomach. Shot of people in the living room laughing. Santa shakes hands with people in the room. 

Shots outside the family's home with a display of the nativity scene in their front yard. A "Peace On Earth" banner is on the house. A large, red-and-gold star is over the home's front door. There is a crown over the manger scene, hanging from a pole. There is a close-up of the Christmas display--crown, manger scene, baby Jesus.
