Here’s an early 1970s clip of the United States Supreme Court, including both exterior and interior shots.

Begins with a zoom-out shot from the “Contemplation of Justice” statue, which sits to the left of the SCOTUS building.

We then see the frieze and inscribed words “EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW” on the facade of the SCOTUS building.

There are then tracking shots within the building. The camera moves through the marbled hallway toward two large wooden doors that swing open slowly, moving into and through the courtroom itself. No one is present. The court has a large, raised wooden bench for the justices; ivory columns stand behind the bench. The seating for audience members appears leather-bound, and the audience area is cordoned off by thick red ropes held up by stanchions.

The clip ends with a zoom-out shot from the “Authority of Law” statue, which sits to the right of the SCOTUS building. The court’s columns are visible behind the statue.
