The U.N. forces take the city of Seoul in battle. Subsequently, they formally return the city to the president of The Republic of Korea, Syngman Rhee. At the capital building the president graciously accepts. The citizens then return back to the city after being refugees. They scramble through the rubble of their homes and start to put everything back together. At a Korean War cemetery, flowers are placed on the soldier's graves.
