Robert tells Tom that he's nervous about meeting him. He fears he wont live up to Tom's expectation. He elaborates about how he feels and lonely and alienated at school. Robert lays in bed wearing only his underwear and looks through his high school year book. He tells Tom that he hates PE and that he fears one day he'll get an erection in the showers and everyone will find out he's gay. He wonders if people can tell he's gay just by looking. Robert flips through the pages with a distressed look on his face and tells Tom that he's tired of being lonely.
