Footage of the celebration of the end of WWI. People crowd the streets, then a cut to ships filled with troops returning to New York City. The soldiers enthusiastically wave and masses of people are there to greet them, waving American flags. Military commanders are shown, then the troops getting off the boat, some are on stretchers, but still alive. A military parade with some soldiers on horseback marches through the city as then president Woodrow Wilson waves at them.
