Airports America commercial paid for by Airport Operators Council International. Begins with shot of outside of Washington National Airport. Female voices begin singing "Airports America" jingle repeatedly. Another shot of airport from a distance. Shot of air traffic controller speaking into microphone wearing aviators. More shots of airports: luggage, control tower. Narrator says, "Hello, this is Cesar Romero. You know when all the pieces are put together, it makes a pretty nice picture." Shot of woman putting together puzzle of an airport. Narrator continues, "But it's really not a puzzle at all. It's a solution. The airport that serves your area provides an up to the minute link between your town and the rest of the world. You see an airport is more than just a pattern of runways where planes come and go. For you, for business, and industry... in employment, in community growth, and development... your airport is a part - a most important part - of the American way of life. Yes, airports are America." During narration there are many quick and continuous shots of airports: shots of luggage, shots of ticket counter transactions, shots of gate signs, shots of planes taking off, shots of other signage inside airport, shot of people waiting in terminal, aerial view of an airport. After narrator concludes, female voices begin singing "Airports America" and then "AOCR" as Airport Operators Council International logo appears in black background.
