LS of a man coming up to another one and they start to fight/scuffle. Cuts to a MS of a newscaster in a trench coast with the picketers behind him detailing that it is noon and they are at the intersection of 19th and Holloway. He says that only the AFT (American Federation of Teachers) members remained on scene. Cut to center of campus where the student strikers had moved. They chant “On strike, shut it down!” over and over. LS of college students walking in a group. LS of cops breaking up riot. Students are hit with batons and knocked down. They are corralled into a large mass by the police in helmets. A police truck/van is brought to the scene. CU on a police officer’s weapon which looks like a crude stick or baton. MS of a hippy/hippie couple walking with alternative coats. The man is playing guitar and singing. His song is asking the crowd for bail money.
