Commercial for Westinghouse Laundromat. Spotlight on the words “Westinghouse Studio One.” A female host stands in front of four women next to washing machines and explains that they are going to do a trial on four of the leading American automatic washers including Westinghouse laundromat with revolving agitator. She introduces the four women and asks them to check the inside of their washers to make sure they’re clean. She shows that they are six white towels, two cups of sand, and a cup of detergent on each washing machine. The woman load towels, sand and detergent into the washer and turn them on. After the wash cycle is finished the women pull the towels out of the washers to see if they’re clean. Each washer has dirty towels except for Westinghouse. The women leave the studio, and the hostess suggests the audience go to a Westinghouse dealer.
