Charmin commercial. A banner that says “Charmin- Best selling bathroom tissue in America.” Mr. George Whipple, played by Dick Wilson, having conversations with two female customers. As one of the customers offers Mr. Whipple a piece of toilet paper, he feels its softness. The woman tells it is irresistible not to squeeze the paper. Then, he scolds the customers who squeezes the toilet paper. (26:44;09) Mr. Whipple assigns a newly hired sales girl to prevent customers from squeezing Charmin toilet papers. The girl then sees two women who are squeezing the Charmin and tells them to stop squeezing, while the girl herself starts squeezing. Mr. Whipple shows up and scolds all three. But he is scolded back by the sales girl when he starts squeezing the toilet paper. (27:16;11) Mr. Whipple has just hired a man who just looks like him. Mr. Whipple teaches the man how to scold the customers. The man approaches to two women and scold them. The women get furious as they instantly notice that the man is only imitating Mr. Whipple. The women leave the man behind and start discussing how soft the Charmin toilet paper is. The real Mr. Whipple comes back and tells the women not to squeeze the paper. “Please don’t squeeze Charmin.”
