Poet Allen Ginsberg plays cymbals and recites a poem as VO. A shirtless Peter Orlovsky works in a kitchen. A sign on a door reads “Yes, I Am Somewhere in This Room”. One man sits at a table with a woman. Another pulls up the zipper of his pants. Orlovsky puts on a collared shirt, brushes his hair in a mirror, then opens a door. Ginsberg smokes a cigarette and prepares his bag. They walk outside and cross a city street.
