A group of Native Americans is gathered around an oven made of buffalo hides. They are in a field wearing blankets near some teepees. A large group of men arrive on horseback dressed as ranchers. One rancher man is in the middle of an unmarked structure, near a Y-shaped log. The scene changes to a group of men in a drum circle beating on a skin, and then the scene changes again to an elderly pair in a shady clearing. The pair is playing whistles and bobbing up and down in front of a small fort made of branches.
