Hand draws a genie come out of a lamp. The paper becomes pitch black except for the genie who begins circling his lamp. The hand who drew him then slowly erases the drawings. The artist (Max Fleischer) then draws Koko the Clown and in the background a sky and mountains. Koko asks his creator, "Who's the stranger?" The artist (Max Fleischer) introduces Koko to his friend. His friend begins to play solitary, and while she plays, Koko and the artist conspire to scare her when she least expects it. The artist goes into the closet and throws a sheet with eye cut outs over himself.
