Pinky feels embarrassed about breaking the window. Mr. McGillicuddy suggested that Pinky sit down while he fixes the window outside. Pinky smells smoke and believes there's a fire. He grabs a bucket and splashes Mr. McGillicuddy who has just climbed a ladder outside the window to repair the broken window. Mr. McGillicuddy's cigar goes out and he falls backwards off the ladder. Mr. McGillicuddy hits Pinky on top of the head and he falls to the ground.
