Film about the railroad industry. Long continuous rails are then laid by a rail road gang (shown previously on another reel). Welded rails are set in place. Then engineers test that the rails have been laid correctly. Then they are hammered into the ground. Storage space in freight cars is maximized by careful panning. Men divide cars to maximize space.
