Clips of the Tuaregs, a nomadic people of the Sahara. In a windy, sandy desert area spotted with thin bushes, a man leads a camel. A woman follows riding on a donkey, another donkey follows her. They are wearing cloaks, veils and turbans. Shot of the woman plunging poles deep into the sandy ground. She builds an arching frame for a tent with more poles that are held together by string. She covers the frame in a cloth of sewn together animal hides and ties the edges of the cloth to the poles. A few shots of cows and calves grazing on the sparse vegetation. A man kneels next to a cow and pushes a calf away from its udders. He milks the cow into a bucket. A few young boys chase goats around. One lunges at a goat, trying to catch it, but misses and hits the ground in a cloud of sand. Another boy milks a goat.
