Hojo Soda by Howard Johnson - Commercial. Clean-cut 1960’s teenagers dance, twist, and boogey to music in an upbeat, bar-like atmosphere. An awkward, older, bald man pops in and wants to get in on the action. He doesn’t fit in and teens stop dancing and stare at the outsider. He dances along and, disguised in sunglasses, approaches the “bar” and asks a young man for a hojo soda. The “bartender” asks for ID and refuses to serve him because he is too old - Hojo Soda is made for people under the age of 21.
