Here's b-roll of people preparing for a house party at a mansion in San Francisco's wealthy neighborhood, Pacific Heights. The party was being thrown by Melvin Belli, a prominent local lawyer. This is clip 2 of 2.
The clip begins with a wide, long shot of part of San Francisco seen from a Pacific Heights mansion. The view includes parts of Pacific Heights, the Marina, and North Beach. Alcatraz Island is seen in the Bay. In the foreground, within the mansion, there is a table with bowls, a lamp, and an ornate metal teapot, or candle-holder, or art piece.
From another window within the mansion, we see the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. In the foreground, we see a patio and trees and other Pacific Heights homes.
A man walks away from the camera down a hallway decorated with lights, crystal chandeliers, and chairs.
On the sidewalk outside the mansion, patrons dressed in suits, coats, and evening wear walk towards the camera or linger on the sidewalk, chatting and listening.
On the street, a man and woman, who are likely valets for the party, watch over cars. The man wears a navy suit and large gray hat while the woman wears a white coat. The man waves to one of the drivers.
The camera pans back to the sidewalk where partygoers are seen chatting or walking. A man in a white sports coat and red tie accompanies a woman in a bright blue dress wearing a long necklace. Later we see a woman in a red jacket and white dress walking beside a man wearing a trench coat and fedora.
Many cars are parked along the street, which is packed with slow-moving traffic. Two women drive toward the camera in a red car.
Three men in tuxedos and a woman in a dress and coat enter the mansion’s front gate. A black security guard wearing a badge holds the gate open for them and nods and smiles. The older tuxedoed gentleman chats with the security guard. The party of four proceed to the mansion and enter through its front door. Inside, we see a large staircase and a chandelier. The woman and one of the three men walk up the staircase.
The camera moves to the right of the staircase to reveal a stately living room, decorated with chairs, lamps, rugs, yellow walls, yellow drapes, a fireplace, and a large scenic painting.
From the living room’s window, we see part of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, and Sausalito. In the foreground, in front of the window, we see a standing lamp and a couch covered with pillows.
Possibly from within the same living room, we see a grand piano sitting behind a green and white patterned couch. The lush-looking room is decked out with candles, a sculpture on a white pedestal, a large plant sitting on a yellow-table-clothed round table, sconces, a bay of windows, and yellow drapes.
In another part of the mansion, we see a room decorated with yellow walls and yellow furnishings. Two green plants bookend the room's yellow sofa.
The camera then pans to an adjoining room. We see, among other things, a green plant in a large yellow pot and a small table with a candle and a bowl of fruit. The room has large windows overlooking the Bay. Through one of the room’s large windows we see the Palace of Fine Arts, its distinct dome, the neighborhood surrounding the Palace, and a portion of the portion of the Bay.
In the clip’s final scene, through another one of the mansion’s windows, we see a large, old-looking, white mansion with a red-tiled roof, trees, and a rooftop of another home. The camera zooms out to show a balcony with a glass table and a woven chair sitting outside.
