1963
This clip from 1963 gives an aerial tour of Los Angeles, though some non-aerial shots are included. The narrator is Jack Douglass.
Aerials cover Downtown Los Angeles, Hansen Sports Arena, Masset Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, large homes and swimming pools, the so-called "Prayer Pass" Freeway, and movie studios and sets.
Non-aerial shots include coverage of the movie studio and tourist attraction known as “Corriganville,” which was located in southern California’s Simi Valley. Signs for the venue are shown. The studio itself looks like the set of a western movie. Old western signs on display include signs for a bank, a sheriff, and for a meal consisting of salami and beer.
