Here’s a 1970s commercial for McDonald’s, the world-famous fast food restaurant. The commercial features actress Jodie Foster as a child as well as the McDonald’s characters Ronald McDonald and Grimace. Years later, Foster would go on to win two Academy Awards for her acting.

In the commercial, “evil” Grimace has stolen all the cups from McDonald Land, making it impossible for people to consume Coke and shakes.

Ronald McDonald, disguised as a mailman, delivers a fake invitation to Grimace to enter a beauty contest, which Grimace accepts. As a result, Grimace leaves his home, alllowing Ronald and his team to retrieve all the cups that had been in Grimace's possession and bring them back to McDonald’s. 

As a bonus, with cups in hand, Ronald and the kids are able to treat themselves to icy-cold Cola and triple-thick shakes. Later, Grimace shows up at McDonald’s for the non-existent beauty contest, clueless.
