Doctor speaks about the cancer of the uterus. He uses a graphic to identify the uterus or womb, a monthly source of bleeding, i.e. menstruation. Also identifies the fallopian tubes, ovaries, vagina, and cervix, also known as the neck of the uterus.

Doctors says that 75% of cancers of the uterus occur in the cervix. Says that cancer of the sexual organs is the second most common cancer among women. About 23,000 women each year die from this disease alone, says the doctor. Thinks these deaths are tragic and need not occur.

Doctor leafs through the files of some of his patients. He then interviews one middle-aged female patient. Wants to figure out when she started having trouble with menstruating and regular bouts of pain.
