Richard Hart, in voiceover, describes Apple's System 7 operating system software, and Windows, running on IBM-compatibles. On screen are System 7 box packages, and a shot of a Macintosh screen as someone moves the "Clipboard" icon around in the System Folder, followed by a similar shot of Windows 3.0 Program Manager. Hart tells us that John Sculley, CEO of Apple, declares System 7 to be better, while Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft, says his company's operating system is superior. We see Sculley at a press conference in purple t-shirt tucked into slacks. Then Bill Gates in a promotional shot presenting Microsoft Windows while wearing a suit and tie. Sculley is interviewed at a technology convention regarding the presence of Bill Gates. Richard Hart appears onscreen to say that neither CEO appeared with the other at the event, but reinforces the sense that Microsoft and Apple control the personal computer market. Hart voiceover describes Apple's System 7 "Publish and Subscribe" feature and "Balloon Help" while they are demonstrated on computer screens. Hart goes on to competitively compare Apple & MS sales.
