Wealthy ranchero oversees cattle on ranch in the Argentinian Pampas. Gauchos move the herd, swing lassos and rope a steer. Holding the steer down, the gaucho rubs some kind of gel on the cow's head. In a pen, gauchos wash and tend to a breeding bull. Various shots of gauchos chasing and herding cattle from one pen to another. Gauchos use a branding iron to brand a young cow; it wails in pain. Many cows are pushed down a narrow enclosure, where a gaucho vaccinates them as the ranchero looks on. The cows continue along the narrow enclosure and are pushed into a disinfectant bath and then out back into the pens again.
