Men, some white and some African/black, in work clothes mill around on the deck of a yellow barge/ship. They work together to attach a cloth or tarp onto a rope structure. WS of the ship moving through the rippling ocean. The sailors/ seamen smoke cigarettes and wash the deck with a hose. Tourists sun bathe, look out at other ships with binoculars, lean at the railing. An older woman sits at a desk inside the ship and works at at typewriter.
