A story about morals and responsibility set in an 1890’s western town. The major berates the young deputy sheriff because he wasn’t there to back up the sheriff for the face off with the gun fight with the outlaw. The deputy sweeps the floor as the sheriffs asks him why he wasn’t on duty to support him.
