The making of a 1920s motion picture studio. Segment begins with college students acting out early film production and overacting and “hamming it up”. Other shots of: architects making scale models of proposed studio, architects reconstructing black box studio, the studio is on wheels, types of building where first movies were shot, roof opens with pulleys to let in light in various places, high school students visit it, a worker pulls rope to open roof, one man pushes building around in a circle by himself for all to see, roof is closed again as they file in to watch great train robbery.
