This clip shows the construction of the world’s fair in San Francisco of 1915 (the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition). A voiceover describes the time and the space in the city the fair covered. The clip begins with a shot of the water beyond the city in VLS. Following are many shots of the construction of the pavilion, all in LS, saving a few that pan down sections of the building construction. A VLS pan of the location reveals how large the construction site is. A LS shows the water and the pavilion. then another LS pans across the completed buildings. Last is a LS of opening day.
