12569_Women_Artillery

The clip starts by showing a drawing of a bomb. Women Ordinance Workers drive tractors that pull cars carrying artillery cannons. At a warehouse, women use cranes held by chains to move the cannons. Women grease, clean, and inspect the gun barrels. At an armor plate range, metal and gunpowder are tested, and woman sit at control panels to fire the military weapons. Bullet holes are seen on the plates, and women use machinery to fire projectiles. Women outside pull levers to maneuver aircraft guns and ram shells inside them. They also load and fire a powder charge. Behind a concrete block, they cover their ears, and the gun blasts with a loud explosion.
